Vegan Cauliflower Wings
Ingredients:
1 head of cauliflower, cut into bite-sized florets
1 cup all-purpose flour
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp smoked paprika
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp black pepper
1 cup plant-based milk (such as almond milk)
1 cup breadcrumbs
1/2 cup buffalo sauce (or your favorite hot sauce)
2 tbsp melted vegan butter
Ranch dressing or blue cheese dressing for dipping (optional)
Instructions:
Preheat the oven to 450°F (230°C).
In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper.
Add the plant-based milk to the bowl and whisk until the mixture is smooth.
Place the breadcrumbs in a separate bowl.
Dip each cauliflower floret into the flour mixture, then coat it in breadcrumbs.
Place the coated cauliflower on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the cauliflower is tender and lightly browned.
In a separate bowl, whisk together the buffalo sauce and melted vegan butter.
Dip the cooked cauliflower in the sauce until it's coated evenly.
Return the cauliflower to the baking sheet and bake for an additional 10 minutes.
Serve hot with ranch or blue cheese dressing for dipping.
These vegan cauliflower wings are a delicious and healthier alternative to traditional chicken wings. They're also easy to customize by using different spices or sauces. Enjoy!
